Who does Sati Paving supply?
We supply UK builders' merchants, distributors, stockists and retail groups. We are a wholesale supplier, so we sell by the pallet and by the container rather than by the slab.
What is the minimum order?
We can deliver as little as one pallet. Speak to our team about the products and quantities you need.
Do you sell direct to the public?
No. Our customers sell to the end user. If a homeowner contacts us we point them to a merchant who stocks the range.
How do I open a trade account?
Send us the company name, the lines you are interested in and the volume you expect to move. We come back with trade pricing and stock, and the account is set up once the first order is agreed.
Stock, lead times and delivery
Where do you deliver?
We arrange nationwide delivery across the UK. Speak to our team to arrange delivery for your order.
How quickly can you deliver UK stock?
UK stock is usually delivered in roughly 3-5 working days. This can sometimes be 6-8 working days depending on stock and haulage availability. Products not yet in the UK take longer. These are estimated timings, not guaranteed delivery dates.
How quickly can individual pallets be delivered?
Individual pallets sent via pallet networks can be delivered within 1-3 working days from order and confirmation under normal circumstances. Our team will discuss availability and timing when you order.
What is the lead time for orders from India?
Roughly 60-75 days, depending on shipping. Shipping schedules and other factors outside our control can affect arrival times, so this is an estimate rather than a guarantee.
How are delivery charges calculated?
Delivery charges are based on the quotes we receive from our haulage partners. Distance and fuel prices at the time of order are the main factors.
How is the delivery unloaded?
We can arrange tail-lift deliveries to residential areas if required, or customers can unload with their forklift at their yard. Speak to our team about unloading requirements when arranging delivery.
Who should I contact about delivery damage?
Report any damage to the sales representative you are dealing with. Photos of the pallets, pallet labels and affected products help us look into the issue and resolve it as soon as possible.
Can you deliver mixed pallets?
Yes. Mixed pallets across colours and sizes are possible on UK stock, and mixed containers are possible on planned orders.
Do you hold stock in the UK?
Yes. We keep a deliberately tight range in deeper stock rather than a long list of lines we cannot back up, so repeat orders can actually be filled.
Product and quality
What thickness is your paving?
Porcelain is 20mm vitrified. Indian sandstone is 22mm calibrated. Both are the standard specifications for UK external paving.
How many square metres are on a pallet?
A porcelain pallet holds 40 slabs of 600 × 900mm and covers 21.6 square metres. That is standard across the porcelain range. Sandstone pallets and packs run from 18 to 20 square metres depending on the line, and the exact figure is confirmed per line on the quote.
Will a repeat order match the batch we bought last time?
We do what we can to match it, but we will not promise an exact result. Porcelain holds its colour well from batch to batch. Natural sandstone shifts with each quarry run, which is normal for the material. We check calibration, colour and edge finish before a container is sealed, and if a batch looks different we tell you before it ships. For a large or phased project, ordering the full quantity at once is the surest way to keep a run looking even.
What slip rating does the porcelain have?
