Buying from us

Who does Sati Paving supply?

We supply UK builders' merchants, distributors, stockists and retail groups. We are a wholesale supplier, so we sell by the pallet and by the container rather than by the slab.

What is the minimum order?

One full pallet on UK stock lines. Most merchants order several pallets at a time across two or three colours, and container buyers order full or mixed loads planned in advance.

Do you sell direct to the public?

No. Our customers sell to the end user. If a homeowner contacts us we point them to a merchant who stocks the range.

How do I open a trade account?

Send us the company name, the lines you are interested in and the volume you expect to move. We come back with trade pricing and stock, and the account is set up once the first order is agreed.

Stock, lead times and delivery

How quickly can you deliver UK stock?

Stocked lines usually dispatch within a few working days and land nationwide on a standard pallet network or a dedicated load for larger orders. We confirm the date in writing before booking.

What is the lead time on a container order?

Plan on roughly eight to twelve weeks from order confirmation to arrival in the UK, depending on production and shipping. We plan repeat volume ahead so stock lands when you need it.

Can you deliver mixed pallets?

Yes. Mixed pallets across colours and sizes are possible on UK stock, and mixed containers are possible on planned orders.

Do you hold stock in the UK?

Yes. We keep a deliberately tight range in deeper stock rather than a long list of lines we cannot back up, so repeat orders can actually be filled.

Product and quality

What thickness is your paving?

Porcelain is 20mm vitrified. Indian sandstone is 22mm calibrated. Both are the standard specifications for UK external paving.

How many square metres are on a pallet?

Porcelain pallets typically cover around 20 to 24 square metres and sandstone patio packs around 18 to 22 square metres, depending on size and thickness. Exact coverage is confirmed per line on the quote.

Will a repeat order match the batch we bought last time?

That is the part we work hardest on. We buy from a small number of factories and check calibration, colour and edge finish before a container is sealed, so a follow-up order looks like the first one on a customer's patio.

Where is the stone from?

Sandstone is quarried and processed in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Porcelain comes from vitrified tile factories in India that we work with directly, as part of Sati Exports Group.

What slip rating does the porcelain have?

Our external porcelain is R11 rated. There is more detail on how R ratings and PTV testing work in our guide on whether porcelain paving is slippery.
